MDH: Nine People Recovering From Alfalfa Sprout E. Coli Outbreak

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- At least nine people in Minnesota and Wisconsin are recovering from an E. coli outbreak.

The Minnesota Department of Health thinks alfalfa sprouts produced by "Jack And The Green Sprouts" are to blame.

Two people got so sick they were hospitalized, but all nine affected have since recovered.

Retailers and restaurants are being urged not to sell or serve the sprouts.

MDH does not believe other products from the River Falls, Wisconsin company are contaminated.
