After A Week Of April Rain, May Is Bringing A Warm-Up

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – After enduring rain and below average temperatures through the end of April, Minnesotans will be treated this week to a warm-up and sunshine.

WCCO-TV Meteorologist Mike Augustyniak says Sunday's highs will be in the low 60s and Monday's highs will be in the upper 60s, temperatures which are about average for this time of year.

As clouds linger, temperatures will drop slightly below average on Wednesday.

But hold on, with the weekend comes the sun.

Both Friday and Saturday look to have highs near 80, which is well above average for early May.
