Police: 2 Found Dead In Maplewood Motel Room

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Maplewood police say two dead bodies were found in a motel Wednesday afternoon.

Police received a welfare check call at about 2 p.m. after someone at the Northernaire Motel looked into a guest's room and saw two people apparently unconscious.

Responding police and fire crews said they found a man and a woman in the room, identified Thursday as 27-year-old Zoua Vang, of Osseo, Wisconsin, and 24-year-old Tou Chang Xiong, of LaCrosse.

Investigators say there was no apparent sign of physical trauma to either victim.

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office is investigating, and police do not believe the public is in any danger.
