Mancini's Hosts Breakfast For Minnesota Military Families

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- On Sunday, some Minnesota families got to share a meal with loved ones thousands of miles away.

Military families enjoyed brunch at Mancini's Char House in St. Paul Sunday morning. At the same time, their loved ones in Kuwait were eating a steak dinner that was cooked-to-order and shipped from St. Paul restaurants.

They could see each other through a live video stream, and some talked through Skype.

This is the 12th year the group "Serving Our Troops" and local volunteers have been organizing events like this for Minnesota National Guard soldiers and their families.
