Metro Transit: Man Struck By LRT In St. Paul

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A man is hospitalized Monday night after he was struck by a light rail train in St. Paul.

According to Metro Transit, the man was hit by an eastbound Green Line train just before 8 p.m. on Prior Avenue.

The man was taken to Regions Hospital. His condition is not known at this time.

The incident briefly caused delays on the Green Line, but Metro Transit said the scene was cleared shortly after 9 p.m.
