MPD: Man Found Shot In Neck In North Mpls.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police are searching for the person who shot an 18-year-old man in the neck Thursday evening in Minneapolis.

The department's ShotSpotter system detected gunshots at about 7:40 p.m. on the 1100 block of North Humboldt Avenue.

Police arrived to find a man shot in the neck inside of a car. His friends were about to drive him to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, but an ambulance came and took him instead.

The victim is in stable condition and it expected to survive. Police are still investigating.
