Minneapolis Marks 2nd Homicide Of 2015

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The second homicide of the year in Minneapolis happened early Saturday morning.

Officers responded to Lowry Avenue and 4th Street Northeast for a shooting call just after 12:30 a.m. and found a man who had been shot.

He was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center but died a short time later.

Police say there was an altercation at the intersection before the shooting.

A man was seen running from the scene with a gun. Witnesses say he was wearing jeans and a gray hoodie sweatshirt.
