Man Killed in ATV Rollover In NE Minnesota Identified

DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office has released the name of a man who was killed when an all-terrain vehicle rolled over in northeastern Minnesota.

The sheriff's office identified the man late Sunday as 32-year-old Daniel John Freeman of Duluth.

According to the sheriff's office, it received a report early Sunday of an ATV overturned in a ditch with a man pinned underneath. First responders were unable to revive Freeman.

The sheriff's office says alcohol and speed are believed to have contributed to the crash, and says the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
