Man Hospitalized After Being Pinned Between Cement Trucks

NORTHWOOD, Iowa (AP) — A 54-year-old Minnesota man has been hospitalized after being pinned between two cement trucks in northern Iowa.

The Worth County Sheriff's Office says the accident occurred around 8:45 a.m. Tuesday near Northwood State Bank on Central Avenue in Northwood. The office said in a news release that Dale Leeman, of Clarks Grove, Minnesota, was standing behind one truck when the second truck backed up, pinning Leeman between them.

He was taken to Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City and was listed in fair condition on Tuesday night.
