Man Held After Duluth Woman, 71, Fatally Stabbed

DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — Police are holding a man in the stabbing death of a 71-year-old Duluth woman.

Officers were called to a Duluth home early Tuesday and were met at the door by a man who said they should arrest him. Police entered and found a woman dead from stab wounds.

The victim is identified as Mary Margaret Mosqueda.

The 37-year-old suspect was taken to jail on suspicion of second-degree intentional homicide. Police say he has no previous criminal charges.
