Man Found Dead From Gunshot Wounds In N. Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police are investigating after a man was found dead in a car in North Minneapolis early Saturday morning.

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, just after 5 a.m. officers responded to a call of a man slumped over inside a vehicle at the intersection of 48th Avenue North and Bryant Avenue North.

Upon arrival, officers found the man suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was taken to North Memorial Medical Center, but was determined dead on arrival.

The name of the victim has not yet been released.

Investigators spoke with people in the area and officers canvassed the neighborhood. They ask that anyone with information call 612-692-8477, or text 847411.
