Police: 1 Man Dead In North Minneapolis Shooting

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minneapolis Police Department says one man is dead after a shooting in the city's north side.

MPD public information officer Sgt. Darcy Horn said a shooting was reported around 8:45 p.m. at Morgan and 12th Avenues North in Minneapolis. When officers arrived, they found a man with gunshot wounds. Resuscitation efforts were made, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers have determined the victim and suspect knew each other, and are interviewing witnesses to gather more information.

No arrests have been made.

The MPD is urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
