Man Dead After Driving Into Polk County Pond
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - A Colfax, Wis., man is dead after driving a car into a Polk County pond.
The body of Blair S. Piper, 39, was found Sunday at the Big Rock Creek Retreat in St. Croix Falls Township.
Deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Office removed a 2002 Subaru Legacy, submerged to the roof line, from a pond on the Big Rock Creek property.
Piper's body was removed from the vehicle, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident is under investigation by the Polk County Sheriff's and Medical Examiner's offices.
