Man Critically Injured In North Mpls. Shooting Dies

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A man who was hospitalized with critical injuries after being shot in north Minneapolis Sunday has died, according to the Minneapolis Police Department.

Around 4:30 p.m. Sunday, officers found two men shot inside a parked vehicle at 35th and Penn Avenues North.

Both men were taken to North Memorial Medical Center. One suffered non-life threatening injuries. The other man was taken into surgery. That man died Monday, police said.

The deceased's name has not been released. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner will release his name and cause of death.
