Man, 23, Arrested In Mpls. Double Homicide

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 23-year-old man was arrested in connection with the double homicide that took place last week in Minneapolis.

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, Antonio Fransion Jenkins was arrested early Saturday morning.

Jenkins is suspected of killing 24-year-old Abdirahman Ahmed Jined and 20-year-old Jorge Ulises Zavaleta-Martinez.

According to the police, the shooting occurred on July 25 at the intersection of Franklin and Chicago avenues.

Jenkins has been booked into the Hennepin County Adult Detention Center. He faces two counts of probably cause murder.

He is currently being held for more investigation
