Man, 22, Dies After Being Pulled From Duluth Hotel Pool

DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — Authorities say a Twin Cities man is dead after being found in a pool at a downtown Duluth hotel.

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office and Duluth police responded early Sunday after a 22-year-old man from Newport was found unresponsive in the pool at the Radisson Hotel Duluth-Harborview.

The sheriff's office say the man was pronounced dead at Essentia-St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth.

Authorities say alcohol appears to be a contributing factor. The name of the man was not immediately released.

The cause of death remains under investigation.
