Man, 21, Charged With Creating Child Pornography

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 21-year-old man is facing child pornography charges after allegedly producing pornographic photos in his house.

Sean Penoncello, of Iron, has been charged with one count of production of child pornography.

According to the charges, in April, 2014 hundreds of photos and images depicting underage children in a sexual way from an investigation in Dayton, Ohio were submitted to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Further investigation found the images were taken in September, 2012 at Penoncello's home.

The charges state several more images were found on Penoncello's iPhone as well as photos that were almost exact duplicates of those from the Ohio investigation.

Officials found that two minor children had visited Penoncello's house with a parent, but were left alone with him. One of the children was the subject of the photos.

Penoncello is being detained in a District Court in Duluth until the trial begins.
