MOA Opening New 2-Story Zara Store

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Another major tenant has been announced for the Mall of America's recent expansions.

Zara, which a number of people had been expecting to come to the Mall of America for some time now, was officially announced Monday morning as one of the next additions for the retail giant.

"As another first-to-market concept at MOA, this worldwide brand is a testament to the continued demand for flagship concepts in the Twin Cities," said the mall's senior vice president of leasing Liz McLay.

The store will be two-stories, and will cover 30,000 square feet. Zara will be located on the north side of the mall.

The mall has been working to fill the $325 million expansion on three levels of the north side, including a new hotel and office tower, and a number of dining options, including the Twin Cities' first Shake Shack
