Make-A-Wish Sends Twin Cities Teen To Space Camp

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A Twin Cities teen will spend the next week fulfilling a lifelong dream.

Fifteen-year-old Vikki Inamagua and her family left for a space camp in Alabama this morning.

She learned in March that she would be able to go on her Make-A-Wish trip thanks to donated airline miles.

Inamagua has a rare blood and organ condition which can leave her in incredible pain, but the teen wasn't going to let it keep her from this longtime dream.

"I had to overcome a lot of obstacles especially from this disease," Inamagua said. "It's very painful and also the fact that I had one yesterday, which was a stomach attack."
