Madonna Shares Stage With Prince At Paisley Park

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A little over 30 people were on hand early Friday morning to observe two of the very biggest pop stars to emerge in the '80s share a stage.

Andrea Swensson from The Current was at Paisley Park in Chanhassen and wrote about her experience as Prince took the stage for the small crowd.

The concert started just before 2 a.m.

Swensson says she realized Madonna was in the first row, perched on the edge of the stage. After the sixth song, Prince and Madonna whispered back and forth before she departed.

Prince continued to play past 3 a.m.

Madonna was in St. Paul at the Xcel Energy Center Thursday night for her Rebel Heart tour.

The two collaborated on "Love Song" on Madonna's 1989 album "Like a Prayer."
