Madden's Resort Reopening After Sunday Storms

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - Parts of a Brainerd-area resort badly damaged by Sunday's severe storms are re-opening.

Madden's Resort on Gull Lake was closed after Sunday's storms.

The roof of one of the buildings is gone. Trees are also down all over the property.

But Wednesday night, Madden's owners said they're making headway on the clean-up.

They say the driving range is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and the Classic Grill restaurant will reopen to the public Thursday evening at 5 p.m.

They plan to reopen other areas of the resort in the coming days.
