Macalester's 'Dog Day' Helps Students De-Stress During Finals

ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- It's the end of the semester for colleges across the Twin Cities, which means students are studying for their final exams.

To help with the stress, several dogs were at Macalester College in St. Paul to get hugs and kisses from students who need a well-deserved break from finals and end of semester studying.

"Dog Day," as it's called, happens twice a year. Faculty, staff and alumni bring their dogs to campus to offer a bit of a break.

Students and staff say that it works and they love spending some time with man's best friend.
