Lynx To Play First 2 Home Playoff Games At Xcel Center

ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Lynx announced Monday that due to scheduling conflicts, their first two home games in the WNBA Playoffs will be played at Xcel Energy Center.

The Lynx, who have won three WNBA titles in the last five seasons, clinched home court throughout the playoffs. They'll have a bye through the first two single-elimination rounds, and their home playoff games will take place in late September.

Their semifinal round will be a best-of-five series, which guarantees at least two home games. Playoff tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday.

The Lynx will also play their 2017 home games at Xcel Energy Center while renovations are done on Target Center.
