Lynx Sign Top Draft Picks Liston, Bussie

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Lynx announced Tuesday they've signed both of their top choices from the recent WNBA Draft.

The Lynx signed Tricia Liston, the No. 12 overall pick, and Aysa Bussie, the No. 15 overall pick in the 2014 WNBA Draft. Liston averaged more than 17 points per game as a senior at Duke and led the Blue Devils in several categories including scoring, minutes, three-pointers an free-throw percentage.

Bussie, a 6-4 center out of West Virginia, earned Associated Press All-America Honorable Mention honors after averaging 12.7 points and 7.8 rebounds per game last season. She finished No. 11 on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,497 career points.

The Lynx host a preseason game at 7 p.m. Monday, May 5 against the Australian National Team at Target Center.
