Lynx Sign Forward, Former Gopher Shae Kelley

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Lynx announced Tuesday they signed forward and former University of Minnesota star Shae Kelley to a seven-day contract.

The Lynx drafted Kelley with the No. 35 pick in this year's WNBA Draft. She played in two preseason games with the Lynx before being waived back in June.

Kelley, a 6-1 forward who played for the Gophers, was an All-Big Ten First Team selection who led Minnesota with 56 steals last season and was second on the team in scoring. She was sixth in the Big Ten in scoring, offensive rebounds and double-doubles, seventh in rebounds and defensive rebounds.
