Lynx Sign Draft Picks Gray, Kelley

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota Lynx have signed two draft picks, including one from the University of Minnesota.

The Lynx announced the signings Monday of second-round draft pick Reshanda Gray, who was chosen 16th overall, and third-rounder Shae Kelley of Minnesota, who was picked 35th overall.

Gray, a 6-foot-3 forward out of California, finished the season averaging 17.4 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. She finished as Cal's all-time leader in career field goal percentage (.557).

Kelly was named to the All-Big Ten First Team in 2015 and led the Gophers in steals (56) and ranked second in points (578). The 6-1 forward ranked sixth in the Big Ten in scoring, offensive rebounds and double-doubles.

The Lynx will kick off their 17th season at home June 5 against the Tulsa Shock.
