Obama To Honor Undefeated Minnesota Lynx At White House

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — President Barack Obama will honor the 2015 WNBA champion Minnesota Lynx next week.

The Lynx are invited to meet Obama at the White House on Monday.

Minnesota has previously been honored by the president for past championships. In October, the Lynx captured their third championship in five seasons.

The Lynx are off to a 13-0 start this season after edging the Los Angeles Sparks 72-69 Tuesday in a showdown between the top teams in the WNBA. Minnesota hosts Los Angeles in a rematch Friday night at Target Center.
