Maya Moore Named Western Conference Player Of The Week

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Minnesota Lynx are off to a 3-0 start, and Maya Moore was named the Western Conference Player of the Week on Monday.

Moore, in her sixth WNBA season with the Lynx, scored 27 points in an opening night win over Phoenix and added 10 assists. Moore also scored 22 points in a win over Chicago and added 17 points, nine rebounds and four assists in a win over Seattle on Sunday.

It's her first award of the year and 15th of her career. The Lynx travel to play the Mercury Wednesday night.
