Lynx F Brunson Sidelined After Right Knee Surgery

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota Lynx say forward Rebekkah Brunson will be sidelined indefinitely after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on her right knee Tuesday.

The 6-foot-2 forward finished her 10th WNBA season and her fourth with the Lynx last season by appearing in 33 games and averaging 10.6 points and a team-high 8.9 rebounds per game.

Brunson finished the 2013 season ranked fifth in the league in rebounding, 15th in steals and 15th in blocks. She also tied her own franchise single-season record, set in 2010, with 12 double-doubles.
