Luring Incident Reported In Northeast Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police are asking the public to stay vigilant following a luring incident Tuesday afternoon in a northeast Minneapolis neighborhood where a man offered a girl candy to get into his minivan.

The Minneapolis Police Department says the incident happened in the Holland neighborhood, on the intersection of 24th Avenue and Jackson Street.

Witnesses described the suspect as an older white man wearing a green flannel shirt and driving a black minivan.

Anyone who witnesses suspicious activity is asked to call 911.
