Lowertown Named A Top 'Up-And-Coming' 'Hood
ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- One of the top "up and coming" neighborhoods in the country in right here in the Twin Cities.
USA Today has named St. Paul's Lowertown neighborhood as one of the top 10 places to get into currently.
The paper cited the area's current renaissance, by way of the ravamp of blighted buildings and the changes at the Union Depot.
They also noted the charm of the year-round Farmer's Market, and the excellent Midwest modern cuisine at Barrio and Heartland Restaurant.
Other neighborhoods that made the list were Detroit's Midtown, Portland's Division Street, Cleveland's Ohio City and Kansas City's Westside.
