Local Music Tap: Sartell's 'The Revolution 5' To Bring Beatlemania To Parkway

A Sartell-based Beatles tribute band is making its Twin Cities debut this weekend with "The Beatles #1Hits" show at Pepito's Parkway Theater.

The Revolution 5 – a five-piece that formed in 2010 – plays the top hits of most popular band in the world, along with some deeper tracks for hardcore fans.

The band promises a note-for-note rendition of all 27 No. 1 hits spanning the entirety of the Beatles' catalog.

"Rather than distract audiences with mop tops or an impersonation act, the group instead chooses to divert their focus to recapturing the unforgettable sound and energy of a live Beatles performance through uncanny attention to detail and use of authentic instruments," the band boasts.

So, for one night only, they will perform at the Parkway at 7 p.m. Saturday, playing over two hours of Beatles.

The band members -- who all sing vocals -- include Aron Barthel (guitar, keys, harp), Louis Winskowski (guitar, keys), Arl Van Beckum (bass), Jake Hagedorn (drums).

Tickets are $18 and you can purchase them here or at the Parkway Theater, located at 4817 Chicago Avenue South, Minneapolis.
