From a solid couple of album releases to an amazing Easter brunch-plus-music option, here are four shows to see this weekend!

Friday: Communist Daughter @ First Avenue – Mpls.
Communist Daughter is returning to the Turf Club this weekend!
The five-piece indie rock band hailing from St. Paul hits the stage Friday evening along with Holidae and Lakewood Cemetery.
Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. It all starts at 8 p.m.

Friday: Circle of Heat Album Release Show @ Cabooze – Mpls.
Fusion rock-and-rollers, Circle Of Heat, are releasing their album "Some People Say" at a hometown show at the Cabooze Friday.
COH shares the bill with Analog Son out of Denver and Minneapolis electronic newcomers, New Elements.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the doors. Doors open for the show, which is 18-plus, at 8:30 p.m.

Saturday: Big Cats Album Release Party @ Turf Club – St. Paul
Big Cats' new LP, "What If It Doesn't Get Better?", is out now!
The hip hop project, fronted by Spencer Wirth-Davis, is celebrating the release at the Amsterdam Saturday with many special guests, including Eric Mayson, Lydia Liza, and Nelson Devereaux.
Also sharing the bill are Lexii Alijai, sloslylove and a DJ set by Claire de Lune.

Sunday: Easter Brunch With Southside Aces @ Dakota Jazz Club – Mpls.
Still no Easter plans? Here's an idea: Have some amazing brunch food at the Dakota Jazz Club whilst listening to some traditional New Orleans jazz performed by Southside Aces.
