Lizz Winstead's Year-In-Review Show Gets Two Nights In Mpls.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Comedian and Minnesota-native Lizz Winstead will once again be bringing her year-in-review show to Minneapolis.

It will be The Daily Show co-creator's sixth such show in the Twin Cities, and this year it's a two-night event.

The show's title? "Plan B from Outer Space."

The shows will both be held at the Cedar Cultural Center. One will be on Saturday, Dec. 27, and the other will be on New Year's Eve. Doors are at 7 p.m., and tickets range from $40-$65.

Winstead's show takes aim at national political topics, and this year her critical eye is looking at Hobby Lobby, the NFL, ISIS, the Secret Service, and Congress.

She also has a lot to say about Minnesota. Expect to hear her takes on Sen. Al Franken, the Vikings and Rep. Michele Bachmann.

Winstead, 53, was born and raised in the Twin Cities. Her comedic debut was at the Brave New Workshop in Minneapolis.
