Knee Injury Ends Season For Lindsey Vonn
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Lindsey Vonn's World Cup skiing season is over, at least for this year.
The Burnsville native crashed during a race Saturday and injured her left knee. She said Wednesday the injuries from the crash were more serious than she first thought.
Vonn suffered three significant fractures in the crash. She had been the overall leader in the World Cup standings this season.
