Lightning Causes Outage Of Pierce County 911 System

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - Lightning struck a microwave tower in Pierce County late Monday evening, causing an outage of the 911 phone system.

All Pierce County 911 calls were routed to the St. Croix County Sheriff's Office Communications Center through Wednesday, as technicians worked to repair the line.
