Liberian Community Gathers To Search For Missing Mounds View Man

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Members of the Liberian community spent Saturday searching for a missing man from Mounds View.

Henry McCabe, 32, has been missing since Labor Day. So far, there have been conflicting reports of where he was last seen -- including a bar in Spring Lake Park where family say he went out with a friend.

Friends and family of McCabe spoke outside the club Saturday and said they believe he was last in New Brighton, and that his wife had a "bizarre" voicemail from him left on her phone that night. She never heard from him again.

Community members spent the day in New Brighton searching in Creek View Park and passing out flyers.

David Kasseh says he's a friend of McCabe.

"I wrestle with sleep knowing that henry is not around," Kasseh said. "I will do everything I can to help to get Henry back."

McCabe is employed by the Minnesota Department of Revenue. Mounds View Police say they will release new information on Monday.
