450-Acre Wildfire Continues To Burn In Lake Hattie

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Firefighters are continuing to fight a massive wildfire in Lake Hattie, Minnesota on Friday.

The 450-acre fire is located five miles northwest of Lake George in the Paul Bunyan State Forest.

The Minnesota Incident Command System said the fire is 10 percent contained and they are continuing to fight the fire both on the ground and from the air.

No buildings are threatened at this time, according to MICS. The DNR, Hubbard County Sheriff's Office, Lake George Fire Department, U.S. Forest Service and Conservation Corps of Minnesota are contributing to efforts to stop the fire.
