Kylie's Kids: Meet Anton

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Anton is a charming 5-year-old spending about six months in Minnesota to receive a bone marrow transplant at Masonic Children's Hospital.

He was born with a rare skin tissue disorder, epidermolysis bullosa.

His whole family traveled from Texas to Minnesota to be with him during the treatment.

They could only fit one stuffed animal in the car for the drive up, but he's since collected a couple dozen in the last few weeks from family, friends, and well-wishers.

His favorite animal at the moment is a baby elephant, and he loves playing doctor for his Spider-Man doll.

Rachel Slavik talked with Anton's family last week. His mother Vanessa said, beyond Anton's protective mask and bandaged arms, you will quickly see a little boy who is all about finding the joy in life.

To follow Anton's progress or to send him another stuffed animal, visit his Facebook page or check out his website.
