Klobuchar Responds After FBI Clears Clinton In Email Investigation

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Democrats in Minnesota are responding to the FBI decision to end its investigation into Hillary Clinton's emails without recommending criminal charges.

On Sunday, the FBI said its review of newly discovered emails did not reveal any new evidence. Democratic Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar said voters need to hear that Clinton was cleared.

"All week we were hearing about these scurrilous ads and other things about what this meant for Hillary Clinton. In fact, the FBI director, who was originally a Republican-appointee, has said this does not re-open the case. The case is closed," Klobuchar said.

Clinton has not directly commented on the case today. Her campaign said it's "glad the matter is resolved."
