Police ID Girl, 17, Killed In St. Paul Shooting

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A teenage girl was shot and killed in St. Paul on Friday. Police are still looking for the person who shot 17-year-old Keyira Nunn while she was sitting in a car.

The incident happened near the intersection of Wilson Avenue and Van Dyke Street. This is near where police say a 17-year-old lost her life.

Police were called to the area at around 5 p.m. Friday on a report of a victim that was shot riding in a vehicle. When officers arrived, they found the girl dead inside the vehicle.

She was pronounced dead at the scene. They are calling this a homicide investigation.

Police have identified the victim as 17-year-old Keyira Nunn.

So far there have been no arrests made. St. Paul police say this is the11th homicide for St. Paul so far this year.
