Kelley Leads Gophers Women Past Wisconsin, 93-82

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Shae Kelley scored a career-high 33 points Wednesday night and added 14 rebounds to lead the Gophers women's basketball team to a 93-82 win over Wisconsin at Williams Arena.

Kelley was 10-of-21 from the field and 13-of-14 at the free-throw line in the win. Amanda Zahui B. added 21 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, three blocks and two steals. It marks her 18th double-double of the season.

Carlie Wagner scored 17 points, and Shayne Mullaney added 14 points and nine assists in the victory.

Minnesota (19-6, 8-5) out-rebounded Wisconsin 52-32 and scored 32 points off 22 offensive rebounds in the victory. The Gophers shot nearly 49 percent from the field in the win and were 22-of-25 at the free-throw line.

Minnesota led by as many as 17 points in the second half before having to hold off a Wisconsin rally.

The Gophers travel to Penn State on Sunday.
