Keillor To Celebrate 41st 'Prairie Home' Anniversary

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Once was not enough for Garrison Keillor. He's going back to Macalester College this summer for another anniversary celebration of "A Prairie Home Companion."

Keillor will bring his radio show to the St. Paul college for a special 41st anniversary live broadcast on the Fourth of July.

Last year, Keillor celebrated the 40th anniversary of "Prairie Home" at Macalester, where the show's first broadcast originated on July 6, 1974.

This year's anniversary show will again be broadcast from an outdoor stage at Macalester's Great Lawn.

Tickets are available online at etix.com or at the Fitzgerald Theater Box Office and Common Good Books in St. Paul.

"A Prairie Home Companion" is heard weekly by nearly 4 million listeners on over 600 public radio stations across the United States.
