Keillor Announces 'Prairie Home' Joke Show

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Get your knock-knock jokes ready. Humorist Garrison Keillor has scheduled another Joke Show for his public radio program, "A Prairie Home Companion."

The Joke Show will be broadcast live from the Pantages Theatre in downtown Minneapolis on Nov. 1.

Fans can submit their jobs online in such categories as animal, blonde, "guy walks into a bar" or bawdy.

Besides Keillor's regular crew and his latest News From Lake Wobegon monologue, the show also will feature the Scottish traditional music group the Battlefield Band and musician Vince Giordano.

Tickets are available in person at the State Theatre box office in Minneapolis and at all Ticketmaster outlets.
