John Mayer Withdraws From Prince Tribute Show

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Pop star John Mayer won't be performing at a tribute concert honoring the late rock icon Prince on Thursday.

Concert promoter Randy Levy told the Minneapolis Star Tribune (http://strib.mn/2dk1MtK ) late Tuesday that Mayer had a "change of schedule" and had to withdraw from the concert at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Performers still in the lineup include Stevie Wonder, Christina Aguilera, Chaka Khan, Tori Kelly and Prince's ex-wife Mayte Garcia, among others.

Prince died in April of an accidental painkiller overdose at his Paisley Park recording complex in the Minneapolis suburb of Chanhassen.
