1 Dead After John Deere Gator Collides With Car

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 45-year-old man is dead after his utility vehicle crashed into a car in Douglas County Saturday night.

Minnesota State Patrol said a Pontiac Grand Am was traveling northwest on Highway 55 in Kensington, Minnesota, when it struck a John Deere Gator turning off of the opposite side of the highway onto Wennersborg Road.

The 45-year-old driver of the Gator was killed. The 21-year-old driver of the car is hospitalized with serious injuries. Two female passengers in the car, an 11-year-old and a 13-year-old, have non-life threatening injuries.

The identities of those involved have not been released.
