'Jimmy The Groundhog' Bites Wis. Mayor's Ear
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The mayor of a southern Wisconsin town received more than just a forecast from Jimmy the Groundhog Monday morning.
Sun Prairie Mayor Jonathan Freund was presenting Jimmy during the Groundhogs Day ceremony when Jimmy took the chance to bite the mayor's ear.
Despite the hard nibble, Freund says Jimmy told him that there would be an early spring.
Jimmy's handlers, however, disagree with the mayor, saying the mayor got it wrong and that there would be six more weeks of winter.
So, maybe Jimmy also disagreed with the mayor.
