Jet Ski Operator Killed In Crow Wing County

BRAINERD, Minn. (AP/WCCO) — A man has died in jet ski accident on a Crow Wing County lake.

Sheriff's officials say Ryan Giguere, a 21-year-old Eagan man, was operating a personal watercraft on Rush Lake Wednesday when he went into the water. Authorities haven't said what caused the accident. Witnesses brought Giguere to shore where attempts were made to resuscitate him.

He was taken by ambulance to an air transport zone nearby, but was pronounced dead.
