Widow, Daughter Of Slain Fargo Officer Receive Flowers At Gymnastics Tournament

DICKINSON, N.D. (AP) — The widow of a slain Fargo police officer and one of her children got a surprise from law officers in western North Dakota while they were in Dickinson for a gymnastics tournament over the weekend.

KXMB-TV reports that officers and first responders from Dickinson, Williston and several counties presented flowers to Rachel Moszer and her daughter Jolee, who was competing at the tournament.

Some officers stayed and watched the girl compete.

Thirty-three-year-old Fargo Officer Jason Moszer was shot and killed while responding to a domestic disturbance Feb. 10. The six-year veteran of the force was the first Fargo officer to die in the line of duty in more than 130 years.
