Jablonski Says He Made His Foot Move

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Jack Jablonski, the high school hockey player who was injured during a game three years ago, says he reached another milestone since that hit on the ice left him paralyzed.

On Tuesday evening, Jabolnski tweeted this out to his followers:

Within 18 hours of the original tweet, it had been retweeted 250 times and favorite another 1,500.

Jablonski, affectionately known to many as "Jabs," suffered a spinal cord injury after being checked from behind during a hockey game in 2011. Since then he's been through rehab and hopes to prove doctors wrong and walk again.

Jabs' mother Leslie Jablonski wrote on CaringBridge that this marks another encouraging "not supposed to happen" moment in his recovery process, and said another happened when his trainer said he was firing up his tricep muscles on his own.
